SAM2 Device Results
The Council runs two Speed Awareness Monitoring devices around the village. The results are published on this page.

The Speedwatch team held a speedwatch session coinciding with the motorcycle parade that travels through Fleggburgh on a Thursday evening.
The results were pleasing to the speedwatch team. It should be noted that a SAM2 was positioned opposite the Kings Arms which announced to the motorists that they were entering a 30 MPH zone, and a second SAM2 was positioned opposite BroadFarm announcing that motorists were now in a 40 MPH zone. The speedwatch team were positioned opposite the sports centre.
The speedwatch team were in place for a 1-hour session commencing at 17:30. During the session, we recorded only two vehicles travelling in excess of 45 MPH, one was a motorcycle and the other a car. Both of these vehicles will be reported to Norfolk Police.
During the session we counted some 82 motorcycles travelling through Fleggburgh with just a single motorcyclist not observing the speed limit. On this occasion at least, the motorcyclists were very respectful of the speed limits.
